Tunnels the Book

Ever wondered about another world, another civilisation or impossible landscapes beneath your feet? Then this book is for you. About 14 year Will Burrows investigating with his friend Chester after his fater disappears down an unknown tunnel. They find a secret they which they would never forget. Shall I tell you what it is? Ok, the story goes like that. Will and Chester found an entrance to the Colony through Will's excavation coincidentally. They decended down a lift shaft and found that, there were actually streets and houses there. It was a town, or a city. THen the get caught by a Styx policeman (Styx were the rulers of this Colony) and Being taken away to be tortured to reveal what they know. Will later learns that he was born here, and his mother had escaped to the surface, known as Topsoil. People in the Colony, know as Colonists, HATE topsoilers for the wrong doings they have done. All the pollution and deforestation...
While Will learns that there is such a place as the Deeps where Colonists that have committed crimes, severe crimes are Banished and left to fend for themselves from Uncle Tam, Chester is still tortured...
I can't seem to remember what happened next...

Reason for writing this? I just read the Second book of this-Deeper. Managed over 300 pages today. Did nothing but read and read and read. I can't seem to remember what happened next after the part I stopped. If you want a summary of Deeper, request in the chatterbox!
